From my experience (and I’ve been doing this for over nine years) there’s no magic formula. What really works on social media takes patience, experimentation, and a lot of storytelling.
My approach to marketing has always been about one thing: the human side.
Think about it, the keyword in “social media” is social.
You have to be social! It’s not just about posting promotions or offers every day.
Now, it doesn’t matter if you’re selling products or services, your social media should show humans to connect and engage.

Because that’s what makes it work organically.
If it’s not working and you’re frustrated that you’re not selling, it’s probably because you’re trying to force it. Sales don’t happen instantly on social media. The strategy behind your content is what drives results.
So be patient, especially in your first year or two. Focus on building credibility, community, and genuine connection. That’s what actually makes social media work.

We see this all the time: people start from scratch, hire an agency or a craft a social media strategy, and after a couple of months, they say, “We’ve been posting daily… but nothing’s working.” The truth is, this usually has more to do with what you’re saying and who you’re saying it to than…
