3 AI tools handle 90% of my content work: ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
Here’s how I actually use them.
There are many more out there, but if you’re a content marketer, these three are more than enough to get started.
First, ChatGPT. I use it mainly to brainstorm ideas, synthesize information, and get quick drafts.
It’s great for generating angles, outlines, and lists – but when it comes to writing, it can sometimes feel a bit robotic or “too polished,” so I always rewrite and add my own voice.
Then there’s Claude. A lot of content marketers love it for longer pieces of writing and strategy-building. It’s very good at helping you think through ideas and structure content, but I’ve noticed it can sometimes add extra fluff, so I treat it as a collaborator: I grab the best phrases and ideas, then edit them down.
And finally, Perplexity. This one I use when I want to make sure I’m not talking nonsense. It’s especially helpful for checking facts, finding sources, and validating whether what I’m saying actually matches reality.
It helps me catch things that might be misleading or outdated before I publish content.
This is just one example of many.
In productivity terms, imagine you have a long form video, and you need to extract the time stamps of the most intriguing moments.
Years ago, I had to do this manually and it was very exhausting, but thanks to AI – it can “read” the entire transcript in seconds with Claude, deliver chapter markers with titles, and the precise time stamps to me to focus on – reducing my workload.
Next time: the AI tools I use for video editing, see you soon!

We see this all the time: people start from scratch, hire an agency or a craft a social media strategy, and after a couple of months, they say, “We’ve been posting daily… but nothing’s working.” The truth is, this usually has more to do with what you’re saying and who you’re saying it to than…
